Softball Recap: Maranatha Christian Comes Up Short

It was a Battle of the Birds when Maranatha Christian challenged San Pasqual on Tuesday. The Maranatha Christian Eagles came up short against the San Pasqual Golden Eagles, falling 17-3.

Maranatha Christian saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kennedy Arango, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Maranatha Christian's record is now 0-2. As for San Pasqual, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Coming up, Maranatha Christian will be taking part in a tournament against Valley Center at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for San Pasqual, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Oceanside at 3:30 p.m. on March 12th.
