Football Game Preview: East Chambers Buccaneers vs. Hardin Hornets

East Chambers is a perfect 10-0 against Hardin since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Buccaneers will welcome the Hornets at 7:30 p.m. Both teams are still undefeated (East Chambers has four wins , while Hardin has five dating back to last season).

On Friday, East Chambers beat Buna 21-14.

East Chambers' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Darius Edmonson, who rushed for 28 yards and a pair of touchdowns. The Buccaneers also got a significant boost from Rashard Hale, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 91 yards.

Meanwhile, Hardin earned a 38-29 win over Orangefield on Friday.

East Chambers' victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Hardin, their win bumped their record up to 5-0.

East Chambers didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Hardin in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, but they still walked away with a 28-22 victory. Will the Buccaneers repeat their success, or do the Hornets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
