Basketball Recap: Gateway Tech Comes Up Short at Home Against Gateway Science Academy

Gateway Tech unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a blow against the Gateway Science Academy Gators on Friday, falling 56-8. The Jaguars just can't catch a break and have now endured ten losses in a row dating back to last season.

Gateway Science Academy pushed their record up to 4-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Gateway Tech will venture away from home to challenge KIPP at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. KIPP will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Gateway Tech surely won't give up without a fight. As for Gateway Science Academy, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against McCluer at 4:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
