San Miguel came tearing into Saturday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.5 goals) and they left with even more momentum. They never let the Apache Junction Prospectors onto the board and left with a 4-0 victory. Considering the Vipers have won five matches by more than three goals this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Apache Junction with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Selene Jimenez, Kelly Estrada, Sumiko Soberanes, and Sherlyn Huizar.

San Miguel's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-1. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three contests. As for Apache Junction, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.

San Miguel wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, an 11-0 victory against Santa Cruz Valley on the 15th.
