Football Recap: Seventy-First Starts Season with Win Against Apex Friendship

Seventy-First took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Apex Friendship Patriots 42-0. Given the Falcons' advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina football rankings (they are ranked 11th, while the Patriots are ranked 104th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Seventy-First will face off against Terry Sanford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Apex Friendship, they will head out to face off against Broughton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
