Soccer Game Preview: West Valley vs. Davis

West Valley hasn't had much luck against Davis recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Rams will be playing in front of their home fans against the Pirates at 7:00 p.m. West Valley has given up an average of 3.3 goals per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

West Valley lost 7-1 to Sunnyside on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, West Valley can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 129th, while Sunnyside are ranked 33rd).

Meanwhile, there was early excitement for Davis after they claimed the first goal on Friday, however, they wouldn't score again. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Sunnyside.

Davis' loss dropped their record down to 11-3-1. As for West Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-12.
