Volleyball Recap: Proctor Rails vs. Aitkin Gobblers        
        
		
             After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Duluth East, Proctor was happy to have turned things around  on Thursday. They were the clear victor by  a  3-0 margin over the Aitkin Gobblers. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest  victory the Rails have posted  since August 27th.
 A big factor in the win was Proctor's feisty defense: they held Aitkin to fewer and fewer points set over set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-16,  25-14.
 Proctor  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 12  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least five  aces in three consecutive  matches.
 Proctor's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Aitkin,  they are  on  a  13-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Proctor will welcome Two Harbors  at 7:00  p.m.  on Monday. Two Harbors will roll in looking for their  fifth straight  victory, something Proctor surely won't give up without a fight. As for Aitkin, they will look to defend their home court  on Monday against Mora  at 7:15  p.m.
