            The Mullen Mustangs will take on the Glenwood Springs Demons at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday. Both come into the  game bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
Mullen is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another  one of Colorado's top teams: Cherokee Trail, who was ranked 11th  at the time (Mullen was ranked 12th). Mullen walked away with  a   58-45  win over Cherokee Trail  on Saturday.

Mullen relied on the efforts of   Tatum Jones, who  went 9-for-15  to rack up 25 points and six  boards, and   Makenzie Jones, who  shot 62% from the field on her way to 23  points and six  rebounds. With that strong performance,  Makenzie is now averaging an impressive 15.3 points per game.
 Mullen  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 13  offensive boards. That's the most  offensive rebounds they've posted since back in December of 2024.
Meanwhile,  two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Glenwood Springs walked away with it. They strolled past the Red-Tailed Hawks with  points to spare on Wednesday, taking the game  51-33. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Demons.

That's the most  steals  she has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was  Ivee Enewold, who  earned 13 points and four  steals.
 Glenwood Springs pushed their record up to 13-11 with the  victory, which was their third straight  at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 53.3 points over those games. As for Mullen, their win bumped their record up to 14-9.
