It's playoff time, and Bibb County had no trouble coming through when it counted. They never let the Pleasant Grove Spartans get on the board and left with a 16-0 victory on Friday. Considering the Choctaws have won ten matches by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The win was the third in a row for Bibb County, bringing their record up to 22-9. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Pleasant Grove, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 11-15 record.

Bibb County will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Spartans: the pair will be back at it again later today.
