Volleyball Recap: Vanden Picks Up Fourth Straight Win at Home

Vanden had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Pioneer on Wednesday. The Vikings blew past the Patriots 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in March.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Vanden was: they took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-15, 25-11.

Ifeanyi Onwuazombe paced Vanden's offense, picking up eight kills. Onwuazombe got some help from Tavas Spencer and his 20 assists. Spencer was also solid from the service line: he led the team with six aces.
