Wilkes Central fell victim to North Surry and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the North Surry Greyhounds, falling 20-0. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Greyhounds: they've now lost five in a row.

Wilkes Central's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for North Surry, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Wilkes Central wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 19-1 loss against Forbush on the 18th. As for North Surry, they have also already played their next game, an 8-0 victory against Surry Central on the 14th.
