New Life Christian Academy is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of West Virginia's top teams: Pipestem Christian Academy, who was ranked fifth at the time (New Life Christian Academy was ranked tenth). New Life Christian Academy took a hard 67-50 fall against Pipestem Christian Academy on Friday.

New Life Christian Academy's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Jake Hamilton, who dropped a triple-double on 14 points, ten boards, and ten assists, and Cameron McEarchern, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds. What's more, Hamilton also racked up three blocks, the most he's had since back in January. Marc Miller was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Meanwhile, the third road matchup was the charm for Ignite Athletics, as they earned their first road win of the season. In a tight game that could have gone either way, they made off with a 58-57 win over Hannan. The Flames' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Ignite Athletics' victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-2. As for New Life Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

New Life Christian Academy was able to grind out a solid win over Ignite Athletics in their previous meeting back in February, winning 56-48. Will New Life Christian Academy repeat their success, or does Ignite Athletics have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
