Emerald has gone 3-0 against Crescent recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. Having just played yesterday, the Emerald Vikings will head out on the road to face off against the Crescent Tigers at 7:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

On Tuesday, Emerald didn't have too much trouble with Ninety Six as they won 64-46.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Crescent). They had just enough and edged Dixie out 59-56. The victory was some much needed relief for the Tigers as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Crescent's win came from a few key players Emerald will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Qya Clemons, who almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine boards. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in boards. Another player making a difference was Colton Walker, who posted ten points.

Crescent's win ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-4. As for Emerald, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Everything came up roses for Emerald against Crescent in their previous matchup on Wednesday, as the squad secured a 71-44 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Emerald since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
