Volleyball Recap: Lowndes Comes Up Short

Lowndes saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Dunwoody Wildcats.

Kaleigh Dudley paced Lowndes' offense, picking up nine kills. Dudley got some help from Kalli Ferguson and her 18 assists.

Dunwoody found their leader in sophomore Simone Stroe, who had ten digs and two assists. Brooklyn Turner also deserves some recognition as she had her first kills of the season.

Lowndes' loss dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Dunwoody, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-4.

Lowndes has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Perry on the 23rd. As for Dunwoody, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Fellowship Christian on the 23rd.
