Softball Recap: Community Christian's Undefeated Season over After 15 Games

Community Christian was the 10-7 winner over Ahoskie Christian when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Cyclones lost 9-3 to Ahoskie Christian on Saturday. The matchup marked the Cyclones' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Community Christian saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emilia Macias, who went 2-for-4 with one triple and one RBI. Ashlynn Hart also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Community Christian fell to 13-1-1. As for Ahoskie Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Community Christian nor Ahoskie Christian have any future games scheduled.
