Soccer Recap: Granite Hills Comes Up Short

The Granite Hills Grizzlies lost 6-1 to the Lindsay Cardinals on Wednesday. While losing is never fun, the Grizzlies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 752nd, while the Cardinals are ranked 29th).

Granite Hills' loss dropped their record down to 8-7-1. As for Lindsay, their win was their 11th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-1-3.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Strathmore the next time they take the pitch. Granite Hills will host Strathmore at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Lindsay will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
