Basketball Recap: Centennial's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Centennial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 84-76 to the Osseo Orioles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cougars of the 75-54 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.

Centennial's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-6. As for Osseo, they pushed their record up to 5-6 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Centennial will welcome Park Center at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday. Park Center knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight games -- so hopefully Centennial likes a good challenge. As for Osseo, they will head out to take on Champlin Park at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday.
