Softball Game Preview: Vista del Lago Ravens vs. JW North Huskies

Vista del Lago is 0-9 against JW North since May of 2018 but things could change on Tuesday. The Ravens will take on the Huskies at 3:15 p.m.

Vista del Lago is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 11th straight game on Thursday. They came up short against Arlington, falling 10-0.

Vista del Lago saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lailene Jimenez, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Meanwhile, JW North narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Heritage 11-9. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Huskies.

Angelina Martinez was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Xochitl Frias, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and three runs.

Vista del Lago's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for JW North, their record is now 13-9.

Vista del Lago suffered a grim 15-1 defeat to JW North when the teams last played on April 3rd. Can the Ravens avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
