Volleyball Recap: 13 Straight Road Wins for Hebron

Hebron posted their closest win since August 15th on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Northwest Texans 2-1. That's more bragging rights for the Hawks, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Hebron had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-23, 25-23.

Corinne Wiley was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 16 digs and one assist. Those 16 digs gave her a new career-high. Mariyah High also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Hebron pushed their record up to 7-4 with the victory, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Northwest, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-4.

Hebron has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Grand Oaks on the 22nd. As for Northwest, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Lovejoy on the 22nd.
