Baseball Recap: Triad Snaps Five-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Triad blew Highland out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Thursday Highland got their revenge. The Knights fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 5-3. The Knights were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bulldogs earlier this season, when they won 11-3.

Triad's loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 23-5. As for Highland, they moved to 15-12 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Looking ahead, Triad is taking a road trip to challenge Belleville East at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Knights are facing the Lancers at the right time seeing as the Lancers are stuck on a six-game losing streak. Highland has already played their next matchup (against Columbia), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
