Basketball Recap: Newark Charter School Comes Up Short

Newark Charter School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They were outmatched by the Archmere Academy Auks and fell 58-26. The Patriots were not able to make up for their defeat to the Auks from their previous meeting back in January of 2024.

Newark Charter School's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Archmere Academy, the victory snapped their losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 3-7 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Newark Charter School will face off against St. Elizabeth at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Archmere Academy, they will take on MOT Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. MOT Charter will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Archmere Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
