On Friday, Knoxville Catholic beat Cocke County 40-30. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Fighting Irish.

Meanwhile, Notre Dame came up short against Calhoun on Monday and fell 56-44. The Fighting Irish have struggled against the Yellow Jackets recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Knoxville Catholic's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-9. As for Notre Dame, their loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-6.

Everything went Knoxville Catholic's way against Notre Dame in their previous meeting back in November of 2023, as Knoxville Catholic made off with a 62-36 win.
