Florida men's basketball coach Mike White has been white hot on the recruiting trail of late and Tuesday that trend continued as the Gators landed 5-star Scottie Lewis of Ranney (Tinton Falls, N.J.).

The commitment comes one day after White landed 4-star big man  Omar Payne of Montverde Academy (Montverde, Fla.), and a month after he earned a pledge from 5-star guard Tre Mann of The Villages Charter (The Villages, Fla.).

Lewis, a 6-foot-5 wing, checks in as the No. 11 overall prospect in the class of 2019, according to  247Sports.

He guided Ranney to a 29-4 overall record in 2017-18, earning a spot on the MaxPreps Junior All-American honorable mention team.

Averaging 16.4 points, 5 rebounds, and 4.1 assists per game, the supremely athletic led Ranney to the NJSIAA Non-Public B Championship game.

Lewis chose the Gators over Kentucky, Arizona, and others, helping White with his best recruiting class since taking over in 2015.
