Recap: Southeast Career Tech Roadrunners vs. Western Warriors
The Southeast Career Tech Roadrunners had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They were dealt a 65-34 loss at the hands of Western on Tuesday. Southeast Career Tech has struggled against Western recently, as their contest on Tuesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Several Roadrunners players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Diego Galarza, who scored 8 points. The team also got some help courtesy of David Palomares, who scored 6 points.
Western got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was AC McDowell out in front who scored 16 points along with 5 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Dakari Gill, who scored 6 points along with 10 rebounds and 3 steals.
Southeast Career Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Western, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
Southeast Career Tech will be playing in front of their home fans against Eldorado at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Western and Sunrise Mountain will face off at 6:30 p.m. on December 1st without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
