Football Recap: Trion Comes Up Short on the Road Against Gordon Lee

Trion kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell 23-12 to the Gordon Lee Trojans. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Trojans apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Despite the loss, Trion had strong showings from Bryson Roberts, who picked up 106 receiving yards and one TD, and Linc Allen, who rushed for 88 yards and one score.

Trion wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 28-6 win against Dade County on the 22nd. As for Gordon Lee, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 24-7 victory against LaFayette on the 22nd.
