Algona barely beat Iowa Falls-Alden the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bulldogs put the hurt on the Cadets with a sharp 70-47 victory on Friday. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Algona pushed their record up to 8-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Iowa Falls-Alden, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.

Coming up, Algona will square off against St. Edmond at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Iowa Falls-Alden, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, an 86-27 loss against Clear Lake on the 26th.
