Softball Recap: Emery Find Success

Emery won the last time they faced San Juan and things went their way on Saturday too. Emery came out on top against San Juan by a score of 11-8. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Spartans.

Kali Jensen was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three stolen bases, and five RBI. Those three stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Aleeyah Cowley also deserves some recognition as she launched her first home run of the season.

Emery now has a winning record of 7-6. As for San Juan, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-12.

Emery didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 15-2 defeat against Beaver on the 29th. As for San Juan, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 14-12 loss against Carbon on the 29th.
