Baseball Recap: Southern Lab Kittens vs. Port Allen Pelicans
Southern Lab lost against Port Allen back in April of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Southern Lab Kittens took a 13-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Port Allen Pelicans. Southern Lab has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
For Port Allen's part, Jack Dickinson made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched five innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off three hits (he also only allowed one walk). Dickinson was also big at the plate, scoring four runs and stealing two bases while going 5-for-5.
In other batting news, Christian Collins was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-5. Garrett Cline was another key contributor, scoring two runs while going 2-for-5.

As for Port Allen, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Parkview Baptist at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
