Volleyball Game Preview: Lourdes Knights vs. Roncalli Jets

The Lourdes Knights will face off against the Roncalli Jets at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Last Tuesday, Lourdes came up short against St. Mary Catholic and fell 3-1. The Knights haven't had much luck with the Zephyrs recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Lourdes started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 15-25, 25-18, 26-24, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Roncalli waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. Everything went their way against the Vikings as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

Roncalli not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Gibraltar between 14 and 17 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-17, 25-16.

Lourdes' defeat dropped their record down to 21-14. As for Roncalli, they now have a winning record of 15-14.
