The Bald Eagle Area Eagles will venture away from home to square off against the Philipsburg-Osceola Mountaineers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bald Eagle Area will be strutting in after a win while Philipsburg-Osceola will be coming in after a loss.

It was a Battle of the Birds when Bald Eagle Area challenged Tyrone on Monday. The Eagles skirted past the Golden Eagles 2-1. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Bald Eagle Area were the better team in the second half.

Kayson Tice and Easton Grimes scored both of Bald Eagle Area's goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.

Meanwhile, Philipsburg-Osceola fell victim to Clearfield and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They came up short against the Bison, falling 3-0.

Bald Eagle Area pushed their record up to 6-4-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Philipsburg-Osceola, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-10.
