Fair Lawn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 4-0 to the Wayne Hills Patriots. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Cutters' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Fair Lawn's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Wayne Hills, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-3.

While Fair Lawn had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
