Basketball Game Preview: Knightstown Panthers vs. Tri Titans

Knightstown and Tri are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2017, but not for long. The Knightstown Panthers will square off against the Tri Titans at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Knightstown has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the game with four straight losses, while Tri will come in with four straight wins.

Last Saturday, Knightstown was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 57-52 to Edinburgh.

Meanwhile, Tri strolled past Wes-Del with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 60-46.

Tri pushed their record up to 8-1 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.6 points per game. As for Knightstown, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.

Knightstown lost to Tri on the road by a decisive 75-56 margin in their previous meeting back in November of 2024. Can Knightstown avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
