Basketball Recap: Hilldale Takes a Loss

Hilldale lost against Keys last Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Hilldale Hornets lost 58-36 to the Keys Cougars. While losing is never fun, the Hornets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 138th, while the Cougars are ranked 29th).

Hilldale has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season. As for Keys, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-2.

Hilldale has already played their next game, a 67-50 victory against Stigler on the 24th. As for Keys, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 49-30 win against Eufaula on the 24th.
