Winning always takes teamwork, but on Monday Harley Medina stepped things up a notch to give Arvada the 'W'. Medina wasn't messing around, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out nine over five innings pitched. The pitching appearance was his third straight with six or more strikeouts.

Looking ahead, Medina and Arvada will venture away from home to challenge Aurora Central at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
