Baseball Game Preview: Blanchet Catholic Cavaliers vs. Taft Tigers

For the second straight game, Blanchet Catholic will face off against Taft. The Cavaliers are taking a road trip to take on the Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Blanchet Catholic is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

While Blanchet Catholic's win against Taft wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Cavaliers narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Tigers 2-1. The two-run effort marked the Cavaliers' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.
