Baseball Recap: Mount Juliet Comes Up Short

Mount Juliet fell victim to Nolensville and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Knights, falling 20-0. The Golden Bears just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.

Mount Juliet saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isaiah Steward, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one triple.

Mount Juliet's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8-1. As for Nolensville, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.

Mount Juliet will square off against Lipscomb Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Lipscomb Academy will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Mount Juliet surely won't give up without a fight. As for Nolensville, they will take on Centennial at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
