Softball Recap: Ridgewood Takes a Loss

The Ridgewood Generals lost 13-5 to the Sandy Valley Cardinals on Thursday.

Ridgewood saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaydence Lahna, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI. Miciah Cahill also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Ridgewood dropped their record down to 5-5-1 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Sandy Valley, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2-1 record this season.

Ridgewood wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 11-3 win against West Holmes on the 18th. Sandy Valley has also already played their next game (against Buckeye Trail), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
