Softball Recap: Crivitz Sets Scoring Season-High Against Wausaukee

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Crivitz). Everything went their way against the Wausaukee Rangers on Monday as they made off with a 14-7 win. The Wolverines haven't had any issues with the Rangers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Isabelle Danielczak spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and four unearned) runs on nine hits.

At the plate, Hattie Frievalt was incredible, going 3-for-5 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Izzy Wesolowski, who went 3-for-5 with three runs and two RBI.

Crivitz was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .405. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 5-6. As for Wausaukee, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Crivitz will square off against Southern Door at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wausaukee, they will take on Coleman at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
