Recap: Bard Falcons vs. Dunbar Crimson Tide
Sadly, the Bard Falcons are still looking for their first win of the season after eight contests. They were dealt a 90-6 loss at the hands of Dunbar on Monday. Bard has struggled against Dunbar recently, as their match on Monday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Emorean Thomas continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Dunbar, dropping a double-double on 35 points and 11 steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Thomas has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jamia Taylor, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Bard dropped their record down to 0-8 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Dunbar, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a massive bump to their 16-9 record this season.
Bard will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Coolidge at 5:30 p.m. on February 9th. Coolidge will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Bard surely won't give up without a fight. As for Dunbar, they will be playing at home against Cardozo at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Dunbar is facing Cardozo at the right time seeing as Cardozo is stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
