While Tanner has struggled on the road with five straight losses  dating back to last season, that wasn't the case  on Thursday thanks to  Torr'e Pride. The Rattlers took down the Decatur Heritage Christian Academy Eagles 46-29  thanks in part to  Pride, who rushed for 280 yards and five  scores while picking up 7.8 yards per carry. He has become a key player for Tanner: the team is undefeated when he posts  at  least  100  rushing yards, but 0-5 otherwise.
 On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Tanner's defense and their six sacks. In fact, those sacks all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut  Tyrone Douglas. Tanner received some extra help from  Kamare'Ez Sanchez, whose fumble return for a touchdown  made for one of the most unforgettable moments.
Tanner's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Decatur Heritage Christian Academy, they dropped their record down to 1-6 with the  defeat, which was their fourth straight  at home dating back to last season.
 Coincidentally, Tanner and Decatur Heritage Christian Academy will both be playing Red Bay the next time they take the field. The Eagles will  host the Tigers at 7:00  p.m.  on  the 17th, while the Rattlers will  host them  at 7:00  p.m.  on  the 24th.
