Mission Bay lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Central, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Saturday's   game. The Mission Bay Buccaneers blew past the Central Spartans 6-0 on Saturday. Considering the Buccaneers have won three matchups by more than five  runs this season, Saturday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Kassie Zavala was  incredible,  going 2-for-3 with one  home run, three  RBI,  and one  double. That's the most  RBI  she has posted since back in April of 2024.  Evie Horton was another key player,  scoring a  run while going 3-for-3.
 Mission Bay was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .480. That's the best  batting average they've posted all season.
The  victory made it two in a row for Mission Bay and  bumps their season record up to 4-3. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.0 runs on average over those games. As for Central, they now  have a losing record of 2-3.
 Mission Bay has  already played their next  contest (against La Jolla Country Day), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Central, they have already played their next game,  a  6-4  win against El Camino on the 15th.
