After only two  runs in their last  contest, Browne made sure to put some  runs up on the board against Miami  on Thursday. Everything went the Browne Bruins' way against the Miami Vandals as the Browne Bruins made off with  a  14-7 victory. The Bruins might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by seven  runs or more this season.
 Shyla Vasquez made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she  tossed 2.1 innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits. She has been consistent : she hasn't  given up  more than one  walk any time she's  pitched this season. She was even better at the plate,  scoring three  runs and  stealing  Two bases. while going 4-for-4.
 In other batting news, Browne let  Anahi Rocha and  Ariza Martinez run wild. Rocha  went 3-for-4 with one  home run, three  runs,  and three  RBI, while  Martinez  scored three  runs and  stole  Four bases. while going 3-for-3. That's the most  hits  Martinez has posted since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of  Tunisia Rios, who  scored three  runs while going 3-for-3.
 Browne was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .581. That's the best  batting average they've posted all season.
Browne's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Miami,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 4-4.
 Looking ahead, Browne will take on Prescott in a tournament  on Friday. As for Miami, they will head out to  challenge St. John Paul II Catholic  at 3:45  p.m.  on Monday.
