It was a good run, but Wichita HomeSchool unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Wellington Crusaders by a score of 49-46. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Warriors came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 38th, while the Crusaders are ranked 145th).

Wichita HomeSchool's loss dropped their record down to 13-3. As for Wellington, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-4.

Wichita HomeSchool won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Conway Springs at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Wellington has already played their next game (against Rose Hill), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
