The Centerville Tigers entered their tilt with the Lovelady Lions with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Centerville strolled past Lovelady with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 58-39. That's another feather in the cap for Centerville, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Centerville was led to victory by Wade Neyland and Trayce Schwab. Neyland dropped a double-double on 17 points and 14 rebounds, while Schwab scored 24 points. Neyland has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last 23 times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Trae Phillips, who scored seven points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Centerville is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 21-6 record this season. As for Lovelady, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-9.
