Basketball Recap: Butte Valley Takes a Loss

Butte Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 66-21 loss at the hands of the Lost River Raiders. The match marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Despite the defeat, Butte Valley saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Hunter Stevenson posted nine points.

Butte Valley's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Lost River, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-1.

Butte Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 56-34 defeat against Surprise Valley on the 8th. As for Lost River, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 61-52 win against Etna on the 7th.
