Basketball Game Preview: Economedes Jaguars vs. Los Fresnos Falcons

Economedes hasn't had much luck against Los Fresnos recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Economedes Jaguars will venture away from home to face off against the Los Fresnos Falcons at 1:30 p.m. Economedes is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.7 points per game this season.

On Monday, Economedes blew past Grulla, posting a 63-34 win. The Jaguars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Economedes' success was spearheaded by the efforts of Nathaniel De La Garza, who went 6 for 15 on his way to 22 points and three steals, and Aniel Solis, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jesse Medrano, who posted ten points.

Meanwhile, Los Fresnos unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Monday. They lost to United South at home by a 67-49 margin.

Economedes has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season. As for Los Fresnos, their loss dropped their record down to 18-7.

Economedes was taken down by Los Fresnos 79-33 in their previous meeting back in January. Can Economedes avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
