Douglas waltzed into their contest on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Riverton Wolverines. For the Bearcats, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 victory the Wolverines walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2021.

Douglas' offense was headlined by Leah Ewing and Samantha Yost, who picked up eight kills apiece. They got some help from Avynn Yost and her 20 assists.

Douglas' win bumped their record up to 18-5. As for Riverton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season.

Douglas didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against East on the 26th. As for Riverton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Evanston on the 26th.
