Volleyball Game Preview: Cavalier Tornadoes vs. Park River/Fordville-Lankin Aggies

Cavalier is 1-6 against Park River/Fordville-Lankin since October of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Tornadoes will head out to square off against the Aggies at 6:00 p.m. Cavalier will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last five times Cavalier and Hatton/Northwood have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Thursday. The Tornadoes were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Thunder.

Meanwhile, Park River/Fordville-Lankin made easy work of North Border co-op [Walhalla/Pembina] on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 victory. The Aggies haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Cavalier's victory bumped their record up to 15-5. As for Park River/Fordville-Lankin, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Cavalier couldn't quite get it done against Park River/Fordville-Lankin when the teams last played back in September as they fell 3-1. Can the Tornadoes avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
