Basketball Recap: Corvallis Takes a Loss

After flying high against Dallas last Friday, Corvallis came back down to earth. The Corvallis Spartans received a blow on Tuesday as they fell 61-42 to the Silverton Foxes. The Spartans have struggled against the Foxes recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Corvallis' defeat dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Silverton, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-2 record this season.

Looking ahead, Corvallis will square off against West Albany at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Silverton, they will face off against Lebanon at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Lebanon comes in on three and Silverton on five.
