Abington Heights is 8-2 against North Pocono since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Comets will be playing in front of their home fans against the Trojans at 3:00 p.m. Abington Heights will be looking to extend their current 15-game winning streak.
Abington Heights' pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They blew past Crestwood 8-0. Considering Abington Heights has won 17 contests by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Adrianna Condrad made a big impact no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 17 over seven innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in March. She was also stellar in the batter's box, firing off two home runs while going 2-for-4.
In other batting news, Avary Brister and Brianna Bustos did most of the damage at the plate: Brister went 3-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one double, while Bustos went 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. That triple marked the first that Brister has hit this season. Riley McColligan was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base.
Abington Heights was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Crestwood only posted a batting average of .083.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for North Pocono, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They skirted past Pittston 2-1. The victory continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Patriots: they've now won four in a row.
Like Abington Heights, North Pocono also got a great game from a two-way player: Amelia Bell. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits (and not a single walk). Bell was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one double.
Bell wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Olivia Charles, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
Abington Heights' win bumped their record up to 20-1. As for North Pocono, their victory bumped their record up to 17-6.
Wednesday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Abington Heights has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .468. However, it's not like North Pocono struggles in that department as they've averaged .437. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
